South Bruce OPP officially identified the victims of the June 11 house fire which claimed three lives.

John Kramer, 36, and his daughters Shailyn, 9 and Britnee, 5, died in the blaze, the cause of which remains under investigation, Acting Sgt. Kevin Martin said in a news release.

Lindsy Mitchell escaped the fire but was badly burned, Kim Caragianakos told The Sun Times shortly after the fire. She’s a friend of Lindsy's sister, Krista, who has been caring for Lindsy's baby, Dillon, who is 15 months old.

An update on Mitchell's condition was not immediately available.

Police received a report at 1:20 a.m. June 11 of a structure fire on 5th Avenue southwest in Chesley. More than one house was involved in the fire.

A fire marshal investigator said the fire started in the Kramer/Mitchell carport and accelerated due to fuels kept there. The suspected cause of ignition hasn't been announced.
