Cannabis products seized in raid at Sauble Beach business

A Sauble Beach business has been raided by police and more than $62,000 in cannabis products and other related substances were seized.

On Wednesday, just after noon, members of the Grey-Bruce OPP and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Units, with assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at the business on Main Street in Sauble.

As a result of the search, police seized dried cannabis, packaged cannabis edibles, cannabis oils and creams, cannabis vaper cartridges and marijuana seeds. OPP officers also seized offence-related property and assorted drug paraphernalia, police said in a news release.

Two people located on the business property were arrested. The total value of the seized cannabis-related substances was over $62,000.

Mustafa Khedri, 30, has been charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cannabis, and possession of nabilone for the purpose of trafficking.

He was held for a bail hearing on Ontario Court of Justice.
