Riding mower stolen from Bentinck-area residence

West Grey Police Service is asking for help to find a riding lawn mower which was reported stolen from a residence in the former Bentinck Township.

Police received the report Monday of a theft of a John Deere x320 tractor with a 48-inch mower deck. It was taken between June 12 and 17 from the victim’s residence on Grey Road 4.

The owner of the tractor also noticed his GPS unit was stolen from a parked vehicle at that residence.

The value of the items reported stolen is estimated at $6,500, a police news release said.
