Fry scores four 

The Owen Sound Leeder & Associates Junior Attack major atom team battled to a weekend split with a loss at home and a win on the road. The squad faced New Hamburg at the Bayshore Saturday and fell 5-2.  Avery Yarde scored both Attack goals, with Christian Sinclair, Brayden Power, Josh Rayner and Chace Minard notching assists. The Attack bounced back on Sunday defeating the Erin-Hillborough team 7-0.  Wyatt Fry netted four goals, while Kaden Zoldy, Minard and Kai Bonterre all netted one. Myles Tennant earned the shutout.

Peewee Jr. Attack win 6-2 in home opener

The Owen Sound Krueger Custom Steel Junior Attack Peewee AE team played their home opener on Sunday against the Midland Centennials AE. The entire team played strong in a 6-2 win. Noah Nairn, Daxton Brunet, Logan Streeter, Bryce Oliphant all netted tallies, while Dexter Carder had a pair. Carrigan McGregor earned the win between the pipes.

Minor midgets lose two

The Owen Sound Subaru Junior Attack minor midgets lost a pair of Tri County Minor Hockey League games over the weekend. On Sunday at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre, Owen Sound fell 4-0 to the Oakville Rangers Blue squad. On Saturday in Burlington, Owen Sound fell 3-2 to the Eagles. Joey Ackert and Hunter McMillan scored in the loss.

United fall to Supersonics

The Owen Sound Grey Motors United fell to the Kitchener Supersonics 4-1 in their Kitchener and District Soccer League quarterfinal match.
